Caroline Manzo and Chef Jaime Laurita: Food is Love

“Food is Love”

Caroline Manzo and Chef Jaime Laurita

Caroline Manzo is a household name as one of Bravo’s beloved Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo’d with Children.  Recently, Caroline joined her brother (and my dear friend and co-host), Chef Jaime Laurita and me in the Viking and La Cornue Showroom in New York City for a Kitchen Chat.  How special to hear Caroline’s and Jaime’s stories about their childhood taste memories at the family farm where their grandmothers would prepare Italian family recipes including Italian meatballs, panzerotti, and gnocchi.

Both Caroline and Jaime agree that “Food is love” and they continue the special family recipes and elevate it by changing the ingredients a bit.  And of course Chef Jaime’s culinary training further accentuates each family recipe.  How special that the love of food has roots in their family farm’s kitchen.

Enjoy this special podcast with two wonderful people.  Both Caroline and Jaime bring such joy to the kitchen and also to their interactions in life. They share a joie de vivre and they both have huge hearts for charity.

Here are Caroline Manzo’s top cooking and life tips for the home chef:

  1. Do what you love
  2. Don’t be intimidated
  3. Let your food flag fly.  Serve with flair.
